You're right, Lori. Ms. Magazine and, more importantly, the often negative view of Christianity portrayed in secular feminist publications, certainly are not what we believe CBE should uphold. CBE is sometimes accused of being too "radical" or "liberal," especially to keep fellowship within evangelical Christianity. While we do understand, at least to some extent, why many women who adhere to secular feminism have become disgruntled with the Church, we instead see the Bible, the very Word of God, and the gospel of Jesus Christ as wholly redemptive (Galatians 3:28)! Equality and justice are biblical, Gospel values, and we pray that in all our interactions, CBE will uphold these truths!

I don't read it, but I know about it. When I was at university, I worked for a radical feminist professor. Ms. Magazine was founded by Gloria Steinem and is the voice of radical feminism. To be honest, I wouldn't associate with them if I were CBE. The anti-egal side already thinks y'all are too "radical" and "liberal." If word got out about this, it would just give the other side more ammunition to smear you and not take you seriously.
